She wagged her fingers at me like a naughty schoolgirl and got a little aggressive with me and kept repeating 'You need to go to your seat.' I told her not to speak to me that way, that I wasn't a stupid little kid, and that we were paying customers. I remained there for maybe 15 minutes and was approached by another individual who told me to 'go sit down.' I told her that I didn't want to, that I preferred to stand, and that I was sore. A harsh looking blonde approached me, wagging her finger and saying 'No flash.' Although there were many around me taking their fill of pics, I put my camera away and walked over to the side of the room.
There were many people walking around, dancing, taking pics and videos, and I decided to do the same since I was sore from driving all day. I wasn't comfortable literally rubbing elbows (and shoulders, and forearms) with strangers so I stood in the back of the room with my $8 dixie cup of wine. Oh, and our overpriced seats were advertised as 'Mezzanine' but when you go into the room the chairs are jammed up against each other all on floor level. Yoakam took the stage 35 minutes late without any comment or explanation, and barely made eye contact with the audience. We had tickets to see Dwight Yoakam, one of our country favorites, here and drove over 8 hours in horrible traffic - including two major highway constructions stops - to get to this venue to see the concert.
